Member Requirements

Student Eligibility

In order for students to be eligible to participate on the team, they must:

• Turn in the completed contract at the end of this handbook

• Maintain academic eligibility ◦ Academic eligibility requires students to maintain GPA above a 2.0

• Be a Thomas Jefferson High School student ◦ Exceptions will be made if a student attends a high school that does not have an FRC team

• Make a significant time commitment to the team, actively participating in meetings, workshops, and events. Commitment to the team increases substantially from January through May ◦ If a student does not regularly attend team meetings and events, they will not be considered an active member, and as such, not get the full benefits of being an active member

• Complete all required and necessary registrations with Team, FIRST, and Thomas Jefferson High School, and pay all required fees including team apparel costs and/or travel expenses

• Students must comply with all team policies laid out in the handbook
