Team Member Expectations
Student Expectations
As a student member of Team 4469, you are expected to demonstrate commitment and professionalism. This involves showing up for meetings, acting responsibly, and handling team tasks with maturity. By aligning with these expectations, you contribute to the team's success and uphold its values.
Code of Conduct
As a member of Team 4469, you are held to a high standard. Whenever working or traveling, you are representing our team, TJHS, FWPS, and our sponsors. Treat others with kindness and respect. The way that you behave impacts everyone from other students to those who sponsor the team. Act as if you are always being watched, as you never know who may be listening. Always be responsible, mature, and act in a graciously professional manner while on or representing the team. Promote and present the idea of Gracious Professionalism to anyone you meet or work with.
Commitment Expectations
Committing to being a part of Team 4469 is the same commitment level as other sports. Team leadership counts on each individual to attend the meetings they say they will to appropriately divide work. If you miss meetings unexpectedly, the team falls behind and we cannot meet our deadlines. This requires staying on top of other responsibilities so that you can attend meetings as planned. Your commitment level will be discussed at the beginning of each build season.
Student Expectations
All team members are expected to be active, respectful, professional, and engaged. By joining Team 4469, you understand that you are committing to be a part of a fully functional small business. Students are expected to:
